Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Review-
My goal when I first joined yearbook and newspaper was to branch out as far as possible, and ACE (Arts, Culture, and Entertainment), was a perfect place to start. In this story I cover the new movie that was releasing the next day “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2”. My favorite part of this story was the timeliness of it coming out the day before the movie was even released due to me getting a premiere ticket.
Teacher Walking Spain Story-
With Summer coming to a close, us as a program covered a few unique experiences students and teachers had. I got to cover one of those stories with a Social Studies Teacher, Mr. Coleman as he walked throughout the country of Spain and all of his unique experiences.
The Long Walk Movie Review-
What turned out to be one of my unexpected favorites of 2025 turned into my first ACE writing I ever did for our news program. This review was definitely a learning experience for me and taught me new ways of storytelling that I haven’t tried before.
Viks Stun Sumner 58-22
Going into this football season, our team was very underrated in terms of skill level. After many long years of disappointing seasons by our former head coach, a new head coach stepped in and changed the atmosphere of the team. With many unexpected wins, this one was the most shocking, with us beating the former state champions in a blowout game.
Newspaper “Yadda Yadda”
One of the staples in our newspaper is the “Yadda Yadda” section, where we go around asking kids the same question to see the variety of answers. I’ve worked on three of these this year, which has really helped improved my reporting skills.
